Thirty-one years in the Army, from 1994 to 2025. The roles varied considerably over that time, but the constant was accountability for people and equipment and being straight with everyone about the condition of both.
NRV Managed IT started because organizations in this area were choosing between an IT company three hours away that treats them as a small account and whoever on staff is best with computers. Neither works well. This is an attempt at a third option.

How the business is set up
One person, deliberately. There is no call queue and no rotating technician, which means you never explain your setup twice. It also means honesty about capacity: this business can support a limited number of organizations well, and taking on more than that would make the service worse for everyone already on it.
If a job is genuinely outside what one person should take on, such as a large infrastructure build or a migration on a hard deadline, you will hear that rather than watch it go badly.
